These terms are the agreement between you and Sona Labs, Inc. for using SonaVoice. We've kept them as plain as we can.

By creating an account or using the SonaVoice desktop app, the website at sonavoice.cc, or the SonaVoice Engine API (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business use, subject to these terms. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant.
The text you dictate is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and — as described in our Privacy Policy— we don't store your audio or transcripts on our servers. You're responsible for the content you create with SonaVoice and for having the right to dictate it.
You agree not to:
Pro is a recurring subscription processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added based on your location. We never receive or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment information. Promotional and referral credits, where offered, are applied through Stripe.
If we offer a referral program, you can earn account credit (currently $7) when someone you refer subscribes to Pro for the first time. Credit is granted after the referred subscription's first successful payment and may be voided if that payment is later refunded or the subscription is cancelled early. Referral credit has no cash value except as we expressly state, and we may change or end the program at any time. Don't abuse it (for example, self-referrals or fake accounts).
If you use the SonaVoice Engine API, you get a free tier for prototyping, with usage-based pricing beyond it. Keep your API keys secret; you're responsible for usage under your keys. We may apply rate limits and may change API features over time. Don't use the API to build a competing speech-to-text service.
The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe (payments) and, if you choose it, Google (sign-in). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The SonaVoice name, logo, software, and content are owned by Sona Labs, Inc. and protected by law. These terms don't give you any rights in our brand or software beyond the license above.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Speech recognition is not perfect and requires an internet connection; you are responsible for reviewing dictated text before relying on it. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sona Labs, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using the Service at any time, and request deletion of your account by emailing support@sonavoice.cc. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice through the Service. Continuing to use SonaVoice after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Sona Labs, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law applies to you. Before any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.
